how come more people dont use 18 or 20oz? Is it a cost thing?

in the long run it must benefit because your speed, power and stamina will all get better.

I train with 14 oz gloves, with the front of the knuckle more padded that the wide spread gloves.

got big hands so its a tight squeeze in the gloves lol

16oz gloves. I have a wide selection of gloves from 12-18. Actually also have mma 8oz gloves.

We use 16oz on our national team, so do we in our gym... I think World Wide it's most recognized to use 16oz.

16+ no lower. It will make u quicker and it's not always about your self you don't want to injure or hurt your partner just because ur wearing 10oz gloves and stop him from training. I'm sure u wouldn't want to get whacked with a 10oz lol

20 oz for heavy bag work and some mitt work.

16 oz for sparring, most mitt work, partner drills and double end bag work
