    I switch over to Gatorade after my sweat stops tasting salty. Before that I drink water.

      I agree, thats why I switch to Gatorade after my sweat stops tasting salty. I would recommend everyone do the same.

        I also drink several glasses of WARM water about 30min before I go to the gym.

        WARM water is easier to drink fast and I find that your body absorbs it much quicker when it doesn't have to do the warming on its own.

        Simple rule of thumb. If your pee is yellow, drink more water.

          I also heard somewhere that it's really not good to drink cold water period, especially after a hard workout or being outside in the heat for a long time. Not entirely sure of the reason, though.

            my trainer has us mix gatorade with water...diluting the sports drink with pure h20.

                    i usually have a botle of water and lemon gatorade. the lemon is lighter and nicer to drink than the orange
