crunches do help burn fat. A) any exercise is burning calories. B) the bigger/stronger the muscle the more energy it burns throughout the day, energy = fat.

Ive been doing this for like 5 months i do like 500-900 sit ups and crunches
a day.

do some other ab exercises that are more intense than situps/crunches
ex. L-sits, planks, kneeling/standing wheel rollouts, etc.

I can feel the ****in abs, the only problem is that i cant get rid of that layer of fat. Its starting to piss me off

abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym
clean up the diet, do some HIIT, other conditioning drills, etc.

Figure out what your body fat is and start dropping it. Just change your diet.
