      How would you know im 5'10 155? Im 5'11 172 lbs right now BTW.

        Beer doesn't give you a gut. Excess caloric intake does.

        Most people who drink beer do so, with little activity on top of a regular 3-4 meal intake daily. I have a low as **** BFP and always have, just like anyone who is active. You suggest pasta? like Spaghetti?

        It's loaded with raw sugars that spike your insulin levels through the roof, and make you store fat as reserves in your body.

        If anything I have no idea why I'm discussing this with someone who is probably a fat **** himself.

        Beer doesn't make you fat..........being a fat **** does. It's just easy to blame the "beer gut" on the lifestyle of the average beer drinker.

        If you drink beer, and do 500 pushups a day..........you aren't going to put on a single ****ing bit of visceral fat.

        This is contrary to all my years of research and reading. HOWEVER I am intrigued and would like to see. Question though knives, why do you see the old guys from who have drank beer their whole lives with skinny arms and legs and a huge "beer gut." Whats causes the muscles to atrophy and the fat to settle. My guess is the alcohol. Once again i repeat this is not an attack because you seem to know your stuff. Is their new research out? n your defense you cant work your stomach to lose fat on it. You lose it equally all around actually starting in shoulders. So can you gain weight in one spot...HMMM

          Dude. I know you're not naive....and won't give in to propaganda.

          Those mother ****ers have never lifted a weight in their lives. Nor have they done consistent workout routines including lifting, cardio and pushups.

          If you lead a normal inactive-moderately inactive lifestyle..........you're going to get fat drinking beer because of the calories. If you work your ass off.......it doesn't matter if you lay on the ground and have someone kegstand you ever five seconds. You aren't getting fat.

          It's all about routine/genetics.

              Look as far as this topic is concerned: I'm assuming the starter has the genetic body type that doesn't put on fat in the midsection clear as day. If he does........I should have specified that cutting food intake would be a good idea, because the beer has plenty of calories.

              There's a misconception and it's a cruel reality.........some people are pre disposed to being fat. They store calories in their bellies.

              Other people don't even have to diet........they stay lean with low BFP. The average male, shouldn't have to worry about what he eats as long as he works his ass off in the gym, and does cardio daily. If I were to use a specific example in boxing.........I'd point to Floyd Mayweather.

              He eats chips, crackers and cheese, sodas...........name it. He just works the calories off and isn't genetically pre disposed to being fat.

              This goes back to a balance of Genotype/Activity level.

              Everyone has seen Floyd eat junk food, that's his diet.
