Im running now which I never have and the boxing workouts are very cardiovascular... but somehow im staying the same weight. Just venting.

You just have to add weight if they become too easy. The reason I suggest drinking beer is because you need carbs. And when you get a slight buzz you can do pushups until you can't do any more..........and it makes them fun.

Plus beer is loaded with the calories you need to bulk.

I don't want to hear a junior scientist bring the "empty calorie" bull**** argument into play.......that's a myth.

But remember cardio and plenty of protein from Almonds..............Meat is too high in sat fats.
lol at first i thought you were joking, but no offence man but you don't know much about dieting and workout.

Alcohol gives you a gut, ****s your braincells and damages the liver over time. And i dont rely on that for carbs, if want carbs i go to oats, rice, pasta etc. Secondly protein from anywhere is good, not just nuts, u cant just say eat almonds they have plent of protein. Meat isnt high in saturated fat, u can buy it lean, or you can eat chicken/tuna/fish etc.

And also, push ups arent good for bulking unless they have weights and rep count is monitored.

lol im not tryin to be rude, but that advice can damage some people if they attempt it.

Also, Salty this isnt a racist question, but you wouldnt by any chance be of African background, because it would explain alot of this genetically speaking, also if what your sayin is true thats extremely good man and i would love to learn more about your dieting and work out routine, props guys.

            Boxing about 2-3 months, but only saw the gains in the last month when i started doing this;

Monday, wednesday, Friday at the boxing gym for two hours; First hour is fitness, with situps, pushups, dips, medicine ball work (Chest press, squats, situps), rowing with a heavy metal pole, skipping, sprints and burpees. Second hour is Boxing with heavy bag, double end, speed ball and sparring.

My workout in the gym varies a lot depending on the circuit the trainer has set up for the day.

Then each day i will do 3x sets of situps, knuckle pushups, wide pushups, diamond pushups, dips, plank, side planks, hip raisers and some shadow boxing. Everytime before bed, first set is a warm up so not pushing myself, 2nd set is getting close to limit, 3rd set is to fail.

Also do a bit of a run (intervals or just a jog depending how i feel) during the week.

Also do a few sets of clap pushups and this other one i thought of where you start in the plank position with elbows in and push down on you hands til your knuckles are pretty much touching. But i try not to do too many of these two as you can get sore muscles if you constantly do them.

            Thats about it i think.

man, in 2-3 months i highly doubt u put 5kg in muscle and ur body fat was lowerd, because its extremely hard for professional body builders to put 10kg of muscle in a year, but 5kg in 2-3months man?, maybe you meant that you just went up in weight includin fat, also man i doubt you went down in body fat. Oi do me a favour, go to the doctor and check your muscle mass and body fat, and give it 2-3 months and re measure it, cause if your right man your extremely lucky genetically, but ye check it out

I know my trainer didn't believe it either, but my body fat has defently decreased as i have lost a bit of the gut which i had. Plus i used to play basketball, then changed to boxing, so i have improved a whole heap of muscles which didnt get much attention before.

                      Holla back?

What are you a 40 year old gangster who keeps listening to propaganda?

Beer doesn't give you a gut. Excess caloric intake does.

Most people who drink beer do so, with little activity on top of a regular 3-4 meal intake daily. I have a low as **** BFP and always have, just like anyone who is active. You suggest pasta? like Spaghetti?

                      hahahahahahhaahh that's worse than beer.

It's loaded with raw sugars that spike your insulin levels through the roof, and make you store fat as reserves in your body.

If anything I have no idea why I'm discussing this with someone who is probably a fat **** himself.

Beer doesn't make you fat..........being a fat **** does. It's just easy to blame the "beer gut" on the lifestyle of the average beer drinker.

If you drink beer, and do 500 pushups a day..........you aren't going to put on a single ****ing bit of visceral fat.
