        Skipping with stretching mixed in is usually my warmup. Shadowboxing too, then perhaps a little speed bag just to get the juices flowin'

          Yeah??? tell me more. I always stretch before i start and before i finish. I'm getting worried, whats teh problem with it?

            i'd always heard stretching before excercise helps prevent injuries... so when should you stretch and whats a better way to warm up?

                  i never liked the effect that stretching had on my body during exercise or sports. i had stopped the whole stretching before thing about 8 years ago. this does not mean that i don't prepare - i do have things i do before exercise/sport activity.

                    The trainer at our gym takes us out for about 20 laps of a 400 metre oval before every training for a warm up an fitness then we might go in an do some skipping or circle work before we spar or work pads.
