i never liked the effect that stretching had on my body during exercise or sports. i had stopped the whole stretching before thing about 8 years ago. this does not mean that i don't prepare - i do have things i do before exercise/sport activity.
The trainer at our gym takes us out for about 20 laps of a 400 metre oval before every training for a warm up an fitness then we might go in an do some skipping or circle work before we spar or work pads.
