[QUOTE=SquareCircle;2432109]Trick, I didn't come here to argue with you.. I was just making a point.

Haha, no worries, I'm not tryin' to argue with anyone either. It's not really a very serious issue. Antioxidants are important indeed.

As to what they do, you can't really understand that if you don't know much about the body. Basically, their most important thing is the binding of free radicals. Long story short... VERY long story very short, free radicals cause ****, and antioxidants give them the smack down.

Free radical oxygen is made all the time, and basically the more energy you make (how much **** you metabolize) the more free radicals you make.

And Leff, I'm glad you have no hard feelings, because I don't either, but I'm pretty well up to date with this kind of literature. I know it sounds kinda *******...ish, but all serious scientific papers today are published in english, I mean, right now I'm working in Germany, but everything I do is in english. So if what you're refering to isn't published in english, then I wouldn't take it too seriously... no offense or anything, I'm not saying WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU or anything, but it's just the way it is nowadays.

Again, no disrespect, but none of the great trainers in the world are feeding their fighters coffee.

That being said, there can be some advantages, but there are advantages in all kinds of things...

im sure the original article is in english , ill see if i can find it
