i'm really trying to be a professional boxer someday and i will go far. how far? i guess it depends on how hard i work. i have a lot of potential in my own unshakable view. i've got power, and i'm trying to get in shape. i'm going to fight at heavyweight in the pros. i'm not so technically proficient right now, but i will get there someday hopefully. but i've got enough right now to give a lot of people trouble.Comment

I want to be succesfull in amatuer boxing and then after a couple of years it turns out the way i expect it to then i might think about turning pro but the thought of even getting brain damage is terrible not knowing your wifes name by the time your in your 30s is nothing im looking for but if my defence improves so much as to where im only getting hit few times a fight then i say **** ya ill do pro but as of now my trainer thinks ill be ready for my first amatuer fight before the end of the summerComment

i'm takin it serious again, and to be very serious it's all because of floyd mayweather man, boxing has been in my life for as long as i can think....but i've been out of it for a while because my gym WOULD NOT let me fight at heavyweight which is silly because ive been sparring with heavys all my life since i was 13(13-16 i done thai-boxing) then i was out of training for a year because i was in a car crash and done alot of damage. But anyway, i'm back training outside the gym and gonna get down to 12 stone, i'm 14 right now, but i wanna go between 12-13 stone and bascily fight everyone i can lol even my friend who everyone at the gym thinks he's the "golden boy" lolComment

I plan on at least getting some amatuer fights. I'll see how that goes before I think about going pro. But I'm excited. Just got my work schedule set up so I can go to the gym 3-4 times a week(before that it was like once or twice). Over the summer I'll basically just be working and boxing, with an appropriate amount of time for friends and my girlfriend. Then next year I'm going off to college, which is about 5 minutes from the gym(I currently live about 20 minutes from the gym). So that'll make things even easier on me.
So to answer your question...I'm going to go as far as I can in boxing. I'm going to give it my all, and let things fall into place.Comment

Its been my dream to become a pro boxer since I was six! I LOVE boxing, Ive been training in and out of the gym since I was six, Ive been teaching and pushin myself. The only thing I watch is boxing, I watch and record ANY boxing that comes on, the only thing I think about is boxing all day, I everysingle time I go online the first 3 sites I go to are boxing related and I only go to 4 alltogether, I dream about boxing, Ive read all kinds of boxing books, I spend all my money on boxing, my days off Im at the gym, after work I go to the gym, I have a gym in the backyard, I pay membership at 2 differant boxing gyms, the only thing Ill hold a conversation about is boxing,
this year I was finally able to get serious and train to start fighting. IN January of this year I was 300 pounds and I couldnt jumprope, hit the speed bag, and never sparred or competed in amateur or pro. Its now May and Im 250 I love jumpin rope now, the speed bag is easy, Ive sparred 5 differant fighters and 3 are pro, and I got this far with NO trainer and no help or support, and I am plannin on making my amateur debut on June 2nd eventhough I just injured my shoulder in a car accident today May 21st.Comment

100 bucks per round in most cases when you start the pros...I was offered 1,500 for 4 rounds..Only because I knew the promoter..I have no ambitions to turn pro due to injuries and focusing on my law degree and next month getting my certification for personal training but the MMA pay around here for the guys is paltry to what you can make in boxing as the norm...Both suck considering you are getting punched in the face though...Comment
