The only way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more.

If it was me, I'd run in the mornings and again at lunch, in addition to boxing at night. I'd eat only raw fruits and raw or steamed vegetables, and lean meat.

When I was dieting down for my first fight, I ran twice a day, and did a set of pushups and situps at work every two hours. I ate soup, salad with only balsamic vinegar and black pepper for dressing, and dry multi-grain toast, for dinner, and that was my lunch AND dinner for the last ten days once I hit my target weight. I ate mostly bananas and pears during the day, drank my coffee black with no sugar, and basically. . . I HATED MY ****ING LIFE. Christ, I wanted a beer.

    But I made weight.

Calories in have to be less than calories out, and you need to keep your nutrition solid while you're eating less. Don't starve yourself; just choose your foods wisely. No Hot Pockets, no pizza. No alcohol. No soda.

Water, fresh fruit and vegetables, lean meat, vitamins. Period.

22 lbs. is A LOT of weight to lose in 2 months.

    Good luck.

If it was easy, people wouldn't be making billions marketing bull**** fat-burning pills and home treadmills.

I lost 40 lbs. over about ten months; what happened was, I lost ten lbs the first month, then about 20 more over the next six months, leveled off at a weight I liked (175), then dropped the last ten lbs. in 3 weeks before my fight. Overall, from 205 to 165. I'm now at 177.

I know a lot of people are against low carb diets like Atkins, but if you want to lose weight quicker, low carb might be the way to go. Depending on what shape you are in, you can lose anywhere from 8 to 20 pounds in the first two weeks.

I am doing a low carb diet and also eating about 1,500 to 2,000 calories a day. The typical low carb diets dont worry much about calories, so I am altering it a bit. Its good to eat a big breakfast when you wake up. It will really help your cravings later in the day. My breakfast is usually scrambled eggs mixed in with sausage and green peppers. About 10 carbs and 600 calories. I eat a snack after woking out, which might be a stick of cheese or a protein shake. A couple hours before dinner I eat a can of tuna, and for dinner I eat a salad with lite dressing and skinless chicken.

Drinking a lot of water is key. It will help flush out the toxins. Vitimans are important too. You should know that exercise is the most important thing.

My understanding is, the low-carb diet works until your body adapts to it. I have cholesterol problems, so the Atkins thing is out for me. If it's working for you, stick with it until it doesn't work anymore.

                    Wanna loose weight?

                    Dont eat.

                    Works every time.

Dont eat 6 hours before going to bed. Then sleep for 12 hours. Then dont have breakfest, wait out another 4 hours, then have a little meal. Then go to sleep again.

Is it healthy? Hell no? Does it work? Hell yes.

Sometimes when Im very busy thats what happens. And I can assure you. It works. Happend to me this week. After New Years and Christmas I didnt work out, eat a lot, I mean A LOT so I put on a little fat. Then I didnt eat for like 2 days cause I was running back and forth and bam all that fat is gone.
