And then we're supposed to believe it was everyone that avoided him?

Just like when Tarver was available before he signed to fight Hopkins and Joe was busy calling out Glenn Johnson to fight at 168?

    Get out of here.

You're a delusional Calzaghe fan who can't evern bring himself to admit he's a fan.
Your seriously deranged in the head, dude.

Calzaghe was asking for Tarver in the post-fight Lacy interviews. Your just a jealous, little liar.

You've never seen Kessler fight. You're an idiot.

He's got 2 of the 4 titles, and wants desperatly to fight Calzahge to unify. It's the most importnat fight availabale at 168, and would set the division apart in the sport.

You're failing to make a point, and when you add in you don't know anything about Kessler and haven't seen him fight, you only underline my point.
Calzaghe is the Ring Magazine champion, best super-middleweight of the last 10 years by miles, fought everybody, anihilated everybody, been on American TV for seven years.. Kessler should be privilaged if Calzaghe gave him a shot.

Insults coming from a guy who can't admit he likes a fighter he's obsessed with don't mean a whole lot.

I suppose you don't really care for Eubank either, huh?

He may have mentioned Tarver, but he was NOT serious about it. He was clearly and louldly calling out GLENN JOHNSON and demanding he drop to 168.

        You don't fool anyone.

He clearly beat Holmes with one arm but was going to be on the receiving end of a scandalous robbery when you look at the scorecards - that's one reason Calzaghe never went Stateside, the scoring of this fight.

And Woodhall was kept on the WBC mandatory spot for 18 months by a certain Mr King! When Woodhall was about to go into surgery for his injury, King suddenly gave him his shot..
so whats that tell you, he went into the fight injured if he was ready to go for surgery? Where was a quality title defence if one man is injured and ready for surgery?

Ohh and BTW Woodhall lost 2 fights before Joe and came back to beat a fighter who lost the last 5 out of 6 fights then earns a title shot. hmmmm

Why do you think Calzaghe stays in Europe? Same reason why he doesnt fight in the US, Because he knows if he leaves he wont get anymore gift decisions he might actually face a real set of judges who dont favor home town fighters.

Who cares what websites say they arent the judges they dont see the same fight judges do angle wise. I feel and have always felt the this way although sometimes actually alot of times politics rules boxing and regardless of how much you won by you will lose the fight on the judges score cards.

And Mitchell sure he's known as a big puncher thats only because he only fought 11 guys out of his 28 in his career that had a winning record when you fight people like that of course your going to look better than you really are.

Hopkins got the Tarver fight, which Joe was desperate for. So Joe turned his attentions to Roy Jones and Glen Johnson, the other big American names..

because talent wise he's nothing compared to Kessler look at the quality of opposition each one has faced that should tell you something, it's not about how big your name is it's how good of a fighter you are.

                Bull ****.

He was calling out Johnson before the Tarver fight was even discussed. He wanted nothing to do with Tarver until he saw Bernard jump up in weight and dominate him.

If he was interested, he would have moved to Light Heavy.

Instead, he focused on a guy Tarver beat, calling him DOWN in weight.

                Have fun Juyster,

keep posting bull **** to yourself and see if it gets anymore true.

I'll keep an eye out and let you know if your observations about what's going on in North America are ringing true.

In your opinion only did he want nothing to do with Tarver. Joe stated Tarver was his ideal fight in the post-fight interviews after the Lacy fight, Johnson wasn't discussed until Hopkins-Tarver was on - check the dates, you lying little ****.

                  It's really quite pathetic.

Carl Froch is a more sellable fight in Britain than Kessler, so let Frochy take out Kessler next year (which he says he definately will!), Calzaghe fight Manfredo and Taylor and if he beats both, a big British clash with Froch to end the year (and maybe his career) with another nice payday.. that's the plan according to an insider anyway.

Kessler who? I'm talking about the Kessler that is 38-0 having only fought 1 person in all his 38 matches with losing record, The Same Kessler who holds 2 of the 4 titles in the same division that Calzaghe is in, or how about the Kessler that beat the other 4 guys you were saying dogged Joe (Mundine, Lucas, Siaca, Beyer knocking 3 of 4 of them) I think thats the Kessler I'm talking about....What now do you have to say to defend your beloved Joe?
