Ring magazine did a ranking called 80 best fighters of the last 80 years and holyfield came at #22. The only heavyweights that came ahead of him were ali, louis, marciano and ezzard. I think he is ranked high cuz he dominated the cruiserweight division too.

Holyfield is truly one of my favorite fighters and I hold him in high regard. He'd probably be my 7th greatest heavyweight...coming in behind Ali, Louis, Holmes, Foreman, Marciano and Johnson. He was the greatest Cruiserweight of all-time and he was a 3 time world heavyweight champion. His opposition is a laundry list of champions, talent and toughguys.

Qawi x2 (whom he defeated in his 12th!!!! pro fight)
              Ocasio
              De Leon
              Dokes (rejuvenated)
              Douglas
              Foreman
              Cooper
              Holmes
              Bowe x3
              Moorer x2
              Mercer
              Tyson
              Lewis

and among the current crop of the weak hw division...

              byrd
              ruiz
              rahman
              toney
              donald
              oquendo

              Gotta love Holyfield.

****, Tyson was 'done' before he got his first loss, man. That she-devil Robin Givens ****** the life force out of him. It was all pre-douglas, when it was revealed how his marriage was on the rocks, he was crashing his car and ****, slacking in training, etc. It was all cuz of that *****.

                quoted from my coach,
"You cant have no goddamn steady girlfriend and try to be a good boxer. you can see other women just dont go steady. because if you do make it, youll have your choice of any fine woman you want, you dont need to be goin steady with no girl, focus on boxin"

lol...maybe that's why the chick on 'play it to the bone' was talking about how alot of boxers are gay, or 'more than you'd think', as she put it.

mike tyson wasnt done untill the day holyfield pushed his punk ass around ...

if he wasnt done he wouldnt have been a huge favorite to win and it wouldnt have been so ****ing shocking to the people that he lost to holyfield

holyfield dosnt get ranked up high on any list because hes not an "invincible" type of fighter...you look at the rest of everyones number 1s..its just a comprise of fighters who rarely lose and are total and completely gifted to the highest order ...thats why tyson was on there for a while in the 80s..memmmber?? you memmmmmmbbbberrr memberrrr?
