We saw Floyd try to negotiate with Hatton at 140, and it wasnt happening, so Floyd moves to 147 to face Judah. Ever since the Gatti destruction where Hatton was ringside, I dont think he wanted a piece of Floyd, but the it seems he has a change of heart moving up to 147. When he couldnt handle COllazo, he knew it was time to move down or get beat down.

There were better fights at 140 when Floyd moved up to 147. Why couldn't he wait a few months for the Hatton fight? He's just interested in easy belts and exhibition fights against semi-retired promoters these days.
