Hatton turned down Mayweather twice and everybody criticizes Mayweather for fighting Baldomir? HATTON IS FIGHTING JUAN ****ING URANGO. Hatton is nothing and knows he can't hang with Mayweather. He can pick on the nobodies at 140 as long as he wants, but the rest of the world doesn't care.

FF: Floyd Mayweather has said several times in the press in recent months that you demanded 13 Million dollars to fight him. Was such a fight ever discussed and can you comment on the validity of his statement?

RH: I don’t remember saying that exactly, but it was probably something in that region. I think it’s a mega fight worth a lot of money, but that end of it is really up to my father and my team to negotiate. I think it’s a fight people really want to see because people know Floyd moved up to welterweight without fighting the Lt welterweight champion. I think a fight between he and I could be one of the biggest fights to be made in boxing.

I remember reading in another interview where Hatton confirmed he asked for 13 mill & said his reasoning behind it was that he was fighting the P4P King or something to that effect. That's the easiest way to getting out of a fight.
        thats not evidence

journalists always blow **** out of proportion, there is no way in the world hatton asked for 13 million

More people care about Hatton than Floyd, the guy's a nobody. Of those who do know who he is, the majority hate him.

Give me Urango over most of Floyd's fights in the last 4 years, any time. He's only a ticking over fight until Castillo anyway.

You're so fickle, Diego. You were saying you had big respect for Hatton not long ago. What's changed? Nothing that you're whining about is recent news, true or not.

Have you had some kind of revelation? Have you been touched by the hand of Floyd? Sorry, God?

And you were in Hatton's back pocket when that number was tossed out? You weren't there so all you can do is just add you opinion. Don't argue with the evidence in your face man. Face it, Hatton priced himself out of the fight & you're denial.

If you wanna talk about the rest of the world try getting a passport. You're probably one of those 75% of dumb yanks that doesn't even own one. Most are so ****in ****** they cant even pick the countries on an Atlas where their soldiers are getting killed. As for Mayflower being popular, the so called best fighter ever doing 325k PPV's hes a ****ing joke.

I'm still unsure, dude. Not 100% convinced. Look at what Hatton says first and foremost.

FF: Ricky lets talk Floyd Mayweather. Last we spoke, you told me a fight with Mayweather would only grow into a bigger event as some time passes and that you’d likely meet down the road. Is Mayweather still a fight you want, how badly do you want it, and when would you envision it taking place?

RH: I definitely want the fight against Mayweather, he’s the number one pound for pound fighter in boxing so I really want the fight. But I signed a three fight deal with HBO (Collazo being the 1st in that series) and Mayweather wasn’t part of that deal. The idea was for me to have those three fights in the US so people can see me fight and my name will get built up. We really want the Mayweather fight but it will need to be negotiated. Obviously we’d want to see more money for a fight with Mayweather because the fight would be worth a lot.

I’d like to get the 2nd and 3rd fights of the deal with HBO out of the way and fight Mayweather with a clear head.

So, first he has three fights with HBO which never involved Mayweather. So ducking PBF is not really an issue until his 3 fight deal is done and dusted. If Hatton does not take Mayweather after the 3 fights, then and only then the issue of ducking can be legitimately raised.

I respect your answer unlike Margebishop who brushed it off as complete bull****. We'll see after his 3 fight deal is up to find out what his plans are.

Yes, it would be logical to hold fire and wait to see what Hatton does after Castillo. I think we all can agree that 3 fights are enough to get a "feel" of what it is like to fight in America.
