Hatton: PBF fights like a woman and is boring!

What makes you think Mayweather wouldn't want to fight Hatton at 140? He is a man who seems to be comfortable at both weights. And I doubt very much that 13 million figure is right. As you said, Mayweather has never made that much from a fight, so why would Hatton even demand that? Hatton also clearly admits PBF is the best fighter out there. He is admitting that presently Mayweather is the bigger fish in the sea. In light of this honest Hatton admission, people ought to know better than believe this 13 million demand.
I've even read where Hatton confirmed that he asked for the same figure. I'll find that one but you don't demand that kind of money if you really want to make that fight. Mayweather probably moving up to 154 to challenge DLH or Spinks anyway so I think 140 is out of the question.Comment

I guess this tears a pretty big hole into the "Hatton is ducking Floyd" theory. I believe Hatton just wants to get Urango and Castillo under his belt notch first, then take aim at Mayweather....which in my eyes is a great idea.
This way Hatton goes up against Castillo, the only man to ever give Floyd any trouble at all, hell Castillo kicked Mayweather's ass the first time hands down. The second was definately a Mayweather showcase though.
So I guess this means Hatton/Castillo is a go, I'm ****ing pumped now.Comment

Here you go; you're really in denial: http://www.fightfan.com/interviews/0806-Hatton.htm
FF: Floyd Mayweather has said several times in the press in recent months that you demanded 13 Million dollars to fight him. Was such a fight ever discussed and can you comment on the validity of his statement?
RH: I don’t remember saying that exactly, but it was probably something in that region. I think it’s a mega fight worth a lot of money, but that end of it is really up to my father and my team to negotiate. I think it’s a fight people really want to see because people know Floyd moved up to welterweight without fighting the Lt welterweight champion. I think a fight between he and I could be one of the biggest fights to be made in boxing.
I remember reading in another interview where Hatton confirmed he asked for 13 mill & said his reasoning behind it was that he was fighting the P4P King or something to that effect. That's the easiest way to getting out of a fight.Comment
