you bringing up what mosley/vargas did is ****ing ******ed. you have 2 superstars fighting there whereas you only have one fighting in the floyd fight. i guarantee if mosley/baldy or vargas/baldy would of happened it would of been the same or less buys.

If you don't think a Tony v. Floyd fight would do at least 300 thousand then you are not knowing whats going on in the boxing world. People are starting or already have been informed of Margarito, and as i've said in the past Margaritos name will be mentioned when they talk about Maywether and have to disect his career.

If and when Margarito wins in December, im sure the talk Mayweather to face him will be great, but don't be surprised if Margarito doesn't even call out floyd because Margarito has already said he is tire of chasing him down.
the only reason most people heard of marg is from bob arum throwing his name out there like he is some superstar not because of his fights, get it right.

Morales vs Pac II sold 375,000 ppvs and a sold out arena. And they are featherweights, and Morales had just come off a single sided loss at the hands of raheem. Not many outside of hardcore fans know Pacquiao, and Morales. And they werent fighting for a title.

I agree, which is why i have no reservations whatsoever about williams, i dont care what happened in sparring.

Morales is extremely popular among Mexicans and latinos. Pacquiao is the most popular celebrity (not just boxer) among Philipinos. These guys are very well known. If they were only known by hardcore fans, they would be doing 30k buys like Margarito...

these days its about name status and not weight class. i dont even see the signifigance in mentioning something about featherweights, when those 2 are a couple of the greatest feathers who have ever lived.
