In my opinion, Cotto already surpassed him. Tito's career was built on cheating through illegal handwraps.

Tell that to HBO who have made numerous videos of his hands being wrapped.

If you laced 'em, you'd know what I'm talking about.
You obviously never laced 'em so don't come in this thread acting like a know it all.
        Thanks.

In the professionals, handwraps are examined by the commission before the gloves go on. Maybe once or twice he got by on them, but believe me the amount of handwraps put on someones hand is not going to cause such a dramatic difference in punching power.

And believe it or not for most fighters its easier to knock people out in the pros than in the amateurs. The pros have smaller gloves, no head gear, more time, no over protective refs etc.

Tito fought with Grant gloves, Reyes gloves, having ref checking his wraps, having other corner's men checking his wraps, always away from home and KOd in 83% of his wins.

I think you fell for Hopkins' own mind game that was intended to work on Tito, not you. But....now you know.

Talk about chins, so did Mayorga, but I guess the ref missed that one too huh? Cum on...

None of the boxing experts ever bring this up when they talk about Tito, so I doubt it is true. Hopkins was just playing mind games with Tito, who was two weight classes above his natural weight anyway. And another thing, how many times has Hopkins been knocked down in his career? It cant be more than once.
