Are you referring to the Showtime clock stopping with 26 seconds left during the first knockdown (something that may have been shown on the big screens)? I saw the same thing, but I did two things... I timed the remaining action, and I also found a YouTube clip someone posted of the Kingvision feed. In the Kingvision feed, the clock kept going -- as opposed to the Showtime feed, where it was stopped for 15 seconds.
Liakhovich fell out of the ring in the final second. I agree that the ref shouldn't have waved the fight off -- I would've preferred the drama of the 20 count. But then again, Liakhovich falling through the ropes was as much from exhaustion as it was from Briggs' punches. It looked like he was trying to lean on the ropes and his rear end just went between two instead of against one. If he was too tired to stand up, I doubt he would've gotten back in the ring, though the ref's waving the fight off may have kept him down.
Either way, Liakhovich wants a rematch, but nothing in the first 11.5 rounds makes people want to see this again.
