BTW, how can a ref stop the fight after the fight has been over w/o a count?

However, he landed much harder shots during most of the rounds, knocking Surging back on several occasions. I actually had Briggs three up, level at best. Lyncanthropy didn't do ****.

he was knocked down with 1 second left and the bell never sounded, but he was still ko'd with 1 second left and was not gonna get up in 20 seconds... I don't understand their arguement there is no saved by the bell he got knocked out. Also u could argue that the fight should have been stopped after the first KD

The whole case is that the ref did not hear the bell, that is why he waved the fight off is to save Liakhovich from any more punishment.
Should the final bell have sounded, the ref should have counted to 20, giving him a chance to get up.
IMO, they have a very good case
This is very similar to Chaves / Meldrick Taylor

so their arguement is that the ref didn't give him 20 seconds to get back in the ring? but the return to that is that lyko was sitting down for a minute and looked hurt, then the return arguement to that is that he didn't get up because he was depressed that he lost... No way he will get a mandatory rematch

well the ref could have stopped it on the first knockdown since Sergei couldn't defend himself so I don't see why he's complaining. he was completely ****ed at that point.
