Are you referring to the Showtime clock stopping with 26 seconds left during the first knockdown (something that may have been shown on the big screens)? I saw the same thing, but I did two things... I timed the remaining action, and I also found a YouTube clip someone posted of the Kingvision feed. In the Kingvision feed, the clock kept going -- as opposed to the Showtime feed, where it was stopped for 15 seconds.

Liakhovich fell out of the ring in the final second. I agree that the ref shouldn't have waved the fight off -- I would've preferred the drama of the 20 count. But then again, Liakhovich falling through the ropes was as much from exhaustion as it was from Briggs' punches. It looked like he was trying to lean on the ropes and his rear end just went between two instead of against one. If he was too tired to stand up, I doubt he would've gotten back in the ring, though the ref's waving the fight off may have kept him down.

Either way, Liakhovich wants a rematch, but nothing in the first 11.5 rounds makes people want to see this again.

Dont you guys know anything. If you complain enough, you are bound to get the #1 ranking and a mandator...James Toney vs Samuel Peter 2 coming soon.

Has a boxer ever lost and not made up an excuse. Tyson/Don King claimed Buster Douglas was down for more than 10 seconds the round before he kayoed tyson. The ropes were too loose in Zaire (Ali-Foreman). I just want to hear someone say: congratulations, let's do it again. Or I wasnt the better man tonight.

I think Liakhovich has a much better case for a rematch than Toney did...

I dont think 20 secs is enough for Lyck to get into the ring. He was kayoed ==> FACT

i agree in fact i dont think a minute was enough, if people didnt hold him down he probably would have slid off the table and wandered into the crowd smiling like a jackass like taurus sykes did on FNF earlier this year.

Why would Segei want's the rematch, everytime Briggs landed a punch on him it hurt him, once again proves my point about how overrated Brewster power was and is.

I highly doubt any person wants to see these 2 fight again, it was like 5 punches per round between the 2 fighters.

this should be the final decider... Lyko hit sunk down into the ropes with one second making it a knockdown at this point... If you dont get up from a knockdown with 1 second left or the ref waves it off the fight is awarded to the other fighter... Remeber he sunk into the ropes with one second left! End of story
