    A better question would be:

Who is the better boxing nation, Mexico or the U.S.

and the answer is the United States, and easily.

    You can't really compare to:

    Robinson
    Louis
    Pep
    Whitaker
    Ali, etc.

The list LITERALLY goes on and on and on and on and on.

I would REALLY like to see a Mexican argue against this... i need something to laugh at.

A Filipino was also among the earliest presidents of the organization. A politician named Montano. I'm not sure about his first name. It may have been Justiniano. He was governor of some place near Manila. Also, a Filipino lawyer named Rudy Salud served as the organization's Secretary-General. If memory serves, Salud was among the key figures of the Secretariat during the very first meeting that resulted in the birth of the WBC.

Here are the founding fathers buddy...

Mexicans Luis Spota and Professor Ramón G. Velázquez, both former WBC presidents, joined in the organization along with the former WBC presidents Onslow Fane of England and Justiniano Montano of the Philippines.

Others include: Piero Pini of Italy, one of the greatest boxing commissioners that ever lived as well as Fernand Leclerc and Edouard Rabret of France and Bob Turley, Nat Fleisher, Gen. Melvin Krulewitch, George Parnassus, Anthony Petronella, Don Larsen, Emile Bruneau, all from the USA, Lázaro Kosi and Ícaro Frusca, of Argentina and Rodrigo Sánchez of Panama are among many other founders from the 11 attending countries.
