    Gatti wants Cotto, Not retiring.

This is according to the most recent Everlast catalong.

Your thoughts? I think its a good matchup though it could really mess up Gatti big time.

I don't think Gatti should get in there with Cotto. I'd be rooting for Cotto and unless Gatti can hurt Cotto, Gatti could be in trouble.

Bad matchup and yes IT WILL mess him up big time. Cotto is too young and too strong for Gatti. Gatti is too slow and shot. I would hardly give him a punchers chance.

Gatti could have hurt Cotto at 140, I'm not so sure about 147 though.

This would have been a great fight at 140 right after Gatti lost to Mayweather. Now Gatti doesnt deserve it and he would get destroyed.

I'm sure they will be. I don't dislike Gatti I just like Cotto. I was rooting for Gatti against Baldomir. But again I don't think Gatti can beat Cotto.

If this fight happens, Cotto will kill Gatti. Cotto is to much for Gatti.

that may be true but I and most people would probably rather see that than the Hispanic-fest on Dec. 2nd at Atlantic city with paper champs margarito and Cotto. Half the fun of Gatti is seeing him get the snot beat out of himself, win or lose.

jesus h. christ, this is suicide by cotto if gatti takes this fight. cotto was a huge jr welterweight and he would hydrate up to a super middleweight. gatti is too small for the welterweight division. too small, too old, and past his best days.

i think gatti should go for cintron, but that would be risky as hell, too.
