gatti is going to get mauled and in the worst fashion too. this is a bad move on his part. his people ought to be looking out for his best interest and that's his health. listening to arturo makes you wonder if he's fought too long already, some of his speach isnt the clearest, at least from what i've seen when i've heard him talk. nothing against gatti but the dude has never ducked a punch in his career, he's been in a lot of wars and i think he should wrap it up before something permanent happens.

LOL both are true. I love Gatti but I wouldn't want him to fight Cotto. As much as I don't want to say it, I think he should just call it quits before he gets hurt. He's got nothing more to prove.

Is he trying to commit suicide? He got knocked out by a puncher who only has 13 KO's,Cotto would rip him apart with the body shots,and i dont think he would hurt Cotto,i think Cottos chin is underated,he got hurt against a guy who had 27 KOs in 29 fights and he STILL defeated him in nice fashion,i think Gatti would get KO'd pretty quik

This is a bad move by Cotto, I know there's alot of money involved, but what does he have to gain by this? Mayweather AND Baldomir already destroyed Gatti, and he has no relevance as far as legitimate contender in the division. Cotto would have to somehow top those two demolitions (short of a 1st round KO it's just not possible) to get any credit.

Cotto is in the role of Holmes vs. Ali here, at least as far as the Boardwalk Hall will be concerned. HBO cannot let this happen, the only way this makes ANY sense is if Cotto loses to Quintana, but even then it's still a huge mismatch and way too dangerous for Gatti's well-being.
