I had the same love for my mother back in the day...I remember coming home from foosball practice only to find my mother bent over the couch getting tagged by a man that wasnt my father.

Was I mad that she had cheated...of course I was but my love for her never wavered. This is the kind of love you have for Cotto my boy and it is very heart warming to see.

Even if you are British, that is the worst comparison ever made on this forum, and dont forget we have the likes of Dino in this place.

Yes sir, that was a worse post than anything I have seen from Dino in a while.

No, I was refering to your comparison of him as a "British Title" fighter, as if you are automatically a nobody if you hold a British title.

            Worst comparison ever.

Many world champions of today have held British titles, so it is a pretty dumb comparison.

No mate you're getting me wrong.

The British title is one of the most respected in boxing in my opinion. I can see why it would piss you off if you thought I was degenerating it at all. All I mean is that he's not world class anymore. He's still a decent fighter but instead of being at the level of say Hatton, Cotto, Mayweather etc, he's now at the level of Jon Thaxton, Scott Dann, Kevin Anderson etc. And whilst most fighters that win the British title win it on the way up, I feel that Gatti is now at that level on the way down.

Believe me, if I had been a boxer I would have made sure (if my abilities had allowed it!!!) that I had won a British title outright before moving on. I think it was a huge mistake of Hatton's not to do so, and I value the belt above any of the bull**** WBU, IBO nonsense belts that fighters actually fight for thinking it's better than the British title. The lonsdale belt is a hugely revered belt, and rightly so.

Yes they do indeed mate, but I feel that Gatti is now at British title level in much the same way that Ken Buchanan was late in his career. He has had his day in world class and is now on the way down. Most fighters that hold the British title are on the way up.

All I meant by it was that Gatti, whilst still a quality fighter, is no longer world class.

                    Ok good save.

But I just thought it was funny you had to say "British title" rather than any other title. Thought you were taking a shot at the credibility of that title in particular, as you could have said "State champion" or some other American equivalent or "European champion" and been even safer.

                    Nevertheless, I understand now.

Like we talked about in Baltimore, your the the Puerto Rican version of me and Im the white honky version of you...except at this point in my life I am only able to take 1 hitters as opposed to you who is much more in shape taking multiple hitters (I used to be the best but when you stop practicing it is damn tough).
