Absolutely not. Mayweather has always been more concerned about making money than fighting serious competition. Don't get me wrong, I think he's one of the best fighters of our era, I just think he's made some very poor opponet choices.

Judah is the toughest guy he's beat and he only took him after Baldomir was through with him. That said Judah wasn't totally "washed up" when Floyd fought him either, he was still a damn solid fighter and still is. Castillo was a tough fight for Floyd and in my eyes, Castillo won that first fight, but I won't argue that here. The victory over Corrales really put Floyd over in my eyes because I love Diego, I admire his heart more than anything.

The win over Baldomir won't really do Floyd much good outside of the title. Most people who are not "insiders" don't even recognize Baldomir. I guarantee you Baldomir is going down in the history books as "the one dude who upset Judah".

All this retirement talk is a ****ign ploy by Mayweather, there's no WAY he can retire now and think he's going in the record books. Not at least without fighting De La Hoya, Hatton, Margarito, Cotto, Williams, etc... In my eyes he needs to beat De La Hoya in order to even be CLOSE to iconic.

I assume you are not aware that Judah-Mayw. was signed before Judah-Baldomir took place.

I also assume you ignore there was a second fight with Castillo and Mayw. clearly won the fight.

If you were actually aware of the above, your post is just a biased selection of the relevant facts.

I am completely aware of the second Castillo fight and Mayweather did infact, beat Castillo's ass in that and in my eyes, was avenged tenfold by doing so. I was not aware the Judah Mayweather fight was signed before the Baldomir Judah fight took place, I stand corrected and I'm man enough to admit that.

I never said Hatton was iconic either, not did I say he was better than Mayweather. I'm simply saying that Hatton is a big name on the scene right now, and if Mayweather wants to become a hall-of-famer, the smart thing would be to go ahead and kick Hatton's ass already, which I know he can do. Same goes with a lot of the guys I mentioned.

Most of them Floyd could simply walk right over, and he SHOULD is what I'm saying because it gives him some other big names on his resume' which will in turn, cement his place in the sport. The only people I see Mayweather having problems with is De La Hoya and Margarito.
