Did Mayweather fight the best in his era?

Floyd is no doubt p4p best right now, but has he fought everyone in his era to make him the greatest? What about guys like Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, P. Williams, Shane Mosely? Why weren't these guys given a shot ? IMO Floyd has no doubt the potential to be one of the all time greats, but he is willing to leave us asking more questions than answers.....

Fighting Zab Judah after losing to Baldomir doesn't give to the cause. I still think he can fight a few more fighters to really increase his resume.

actually i'd give him more credit for fighting antonio than for fighting zab. he never fought mosley, or tszyu - so that's a big thing in my book. a fight with hatton would be interesting as well.

i do give him a bit of credit for fighting baldomir though. and a bit more for beating him with relative ease.

As for fighting Hatton,hes offered him 3 times already,Hatton has turned dem down saying he needs more tune ups or asking for 13 million

As for Margarito and Williams,what does he gain if he does fight them? No1 really knows them yet,let Marg and Williams fight eachover,Floyd dont need them
