But I still believe that he may increase his profile in the States by beating Castillo (Urango is just a warm-up), then maybe go back for Floyd when he's on a more level playing field. (ie when he can command a fairer sum of the cash).

Thas funny coming a guy with Floyd Mayweather in his AVITAR.. No offence to Floyd.. but he can be accused of the exact same behavior you are accusing Ricky Hatton of.. The worst thing about PBF is.. NOT his skills (they are AWESOME) or his additude out of the ring.. I find him quite funny and charismatic... NO its the fact that he SOOOOOO talented BUT would rather put on an EXIBITION of his talent.. Than to TRULY challenge it... HIS resume since Castillio is an absolute joke.. with maybe the exception of ZAB Judah. who is also very talented but has the mental fortitude of a 6 year old...
PBF should NOT fight anyone coming off a LOSS.. should not fight anyone with more than 2 losses(those losses should ONLY be at Champoinship level) and preferably every fight he is in should be against a Champion or top 3 Contender.. BULL**** champs (Judah and GATTI-Another great guy.. but a paper Champ at 140) not included.. so he has just been a waste of a gift I would KILL to have.. he should be ashamed of himself..

If that is the case then why is there always rumors out of the UK that he is known as Ricky Fatton and I've seen him blown up after fights. He might make weight but I don't know that its easy. And the reason he doesn't want to fight Mayweather is that little 0 at the end of his record. There are plenty of guys who have 1 loss but few who are respected and are undefeated. Losing that 0 makes the rest of his career significantly less valuable. He loses the US appeal when the O goes.

Hatton has been known to blow up to 210 between fights, but still makes 140 EASILY. Most of it is water weight.

The difference is Floyd has proven himself in the past against many fighters. Hatton is still living off one win. Floyd's recent resume would be a lot better if Hatton would step up and fight him...

Floyd has beaten guys like castillo, chavez, aug, hernadez, corrales, zab ( yea he lost a fight before fighting floyd but he was still top rank welterweight), those resumes floyd got is way way way way better then all hatton opponents.
