I thought that post was a joke already. Who puts Vince Phillips down on a list of who they beat if they're an "all-time" great. And when you fight a fight like he did against Collazo, you give away all claim to the title of "most exciting fighter of this generation." If boxing excitement came from clinching and holding well then Hatton would be the most exciting fighter of our era.

Vince Phillips was shot...even Tszyu wasn't the same fighter, but still have respect for Hatton for beating him, somebody had to.

I would like to see the Castillo fight, but he is another one who has been through some tough fights.

Mayweather is his legacy fight, as long as he gets Floyd soon: I don't want to see a fight with Mayweather as he goes into his 30's.

If Hatton was so confident he would have fought Mayweather by now...Beating Floyd would make Hatton's name even bigger and up his salary.

I agree. I am not saying Hatton is afraid, but simply that he knows that Floyd is a bad style match for him. If he does fight Floyd it will be in his last fight so that he is guaranteed a big payday and win or lose he rides off into the sunset. Hatton has already talked of retirement, imo because he knows that once his physical skills start to diminish it will be a steep downhill. Plus he has trouble making 140 and clearly just isn't as effective at higher weights.

Damn your brain is under 14. Phillips? the 40 year old? lol give me a god damn break. If hatton can beat mayweather this and that, then why hatton pretected father keep saying hatton needs more tune ups before fighting floyd huh? lol yea. That shows even hattons own dad don't think hatton is ready to fight mayweather. You and the rest of the idiot hatton nuthuggers need to wake up to reality cause hatton doesn't have no defense at all. Floyd slick defensive style will make hatton look like an 1 demensional fool just like hopkins did to tito, just like what oscar did to mayorga.
