Boxing is by far more entertaining.

yeah, I hated it when they hugged on the ground looking like a gay ****.
K1 is better. but boxing is the best entertaining fight sports.

No offense to all UFC fans, but I find the UFC fights kinda slow especially when the fighters choose to "hug it out" until one taps out in the end. Sure, there are also some powerful punchers in UFC, but they don't have the same kind of speed or accuracy that I see in boxers. Most of the time, they draw their arms back and swing it out when they deliver a punch.

why are you clowns even responding to this kid? He just trying to piss ppl off by being racist and dumb. Probably a 400lb mexican geek that never won a fight his whole life. Every one knows that Boxing is worldwide while MMA is a fringe show

BOXING is DEAD! UFC killed it....

Boxing isn't dead, it just needs to get it's **** together, maybe the UFC and Pride fighting stealing some of it's audience, will show the boxing world it needs to combines today "show" with the old school, toughness and fight parity.. MMA is and will continue to be boxings little brother. The UFC is exciting, btu it lacks substance. One can only watch two half naked men wrestle for 15to 30 minutes for so long. I like to watch people get beat up, but I'm not much a fan of seeing mutha****as get choked and get they **** broke, I don't see much sport in that, but that is the major appeal of the sport, it looks like something anyone on the street can do, which if you have any sense, you know you can't. But in my opinion, you can take the baddest mutha****a in each weight class in teh UFC and have them lace up the gloves against a mid level contender and they will get laid out... UFC isn't a sport, it's legalized fighting...

It really kills me, this impression that MMA is stealing boxing fans....it's a complete myth.

Boxing fans don't leave......really that should be the end of the story; but I'll elaborate.

Casual fans...aka, those who really don't know **** about the sport but follow the poster boys.....might go to UFC; but I don't consider them boxing fans. Casual fans think Mike Tyson's still champ.

MMA is taking fans away from the WWE and TNA because those fans luv drama and rasslin' and now, they've found "REAL RASSLIN'"......sad; but true.

Sure, there are those fans who were MMA fans because that's their sport of choice; but I submit that they were only casual boxing fans to begin with.....and the "New" MMA fans have go "Hulkamania T-Shirts" in there closets....mark my words. LOL!!!

So, let the rumors fly; but all you have to do is meet the fans to tell the difference. Boxing fans are as special a breed as the boxers themselves. So, fellas, don't let this crap get to you. You know who you are; and if you like sneaking out on boxing every now and then to get you a little piece of MMA on the side, don't worry. Boxing is a forgiving mistress and will always welcome you home and never judge you.

                Peace fellas, I'm out.

boxing is far from dead, but the match making isnt helping the sport at all. also poor officiating, crooked sanctioning bodies, and corrupt ass promoters aren't helping either.
