BUT for the very same reasons you mention.. are the VERY same reasons Eastern Euros are NOW dominating the Higher weights and primarly MEXIs rule the lower weights.. POVERTY ... Everywhere I go I see these white boys with there tap out shirts and talking about how they can ground and pound an wrestle a guy....i never seen fight sports so popular i was one of the few watching BOXING and older ufc....but it seems UFC crushed boxing becuase all these wanna be tough frat boys now walking around in the mall talking about it...

and the ratings prove it...

I like mma and boxing but BOXING is dead....

Its all the greedy promoters faults....they are dumb they could of made more money showing free fights 2 times a month on a regular station like ABC, NBC, CBS etc....but they want that quick fix from a ppv.

agreed i just feel that great white fighters from this country are hard to come by.. there are no fighters like calzaghe , vitlali , sergi or jirov. or even duddy or abrahm.. there is one featherweight who is alright but i forget his name... but i now see what your saying

the UFC doesnt have the problems and corruption that boxing has.

managers, promoters, sanctioning bodies, bull**** decisions, purse bids, etc. these are boxing's biggest problems. and nobody is to blame except for boxing.

boxing was too corrupt to keep itself alive. boxing killed itself. the UFC was just the final nail in the coffin.
