I think people forget it is about Winning

Great Generals of the past, that were out-numbered, have all used agility/speed as a key to securing victory...the fool doesn't and can't adapt.

If the American troops during the Revolution would have went toe to toe all the time with the English, there would be no United States.

People that say not going to toe toe is a ***** move are not strong up top, that is why they complain.

The fight I really wanted to see is the other guy to knockout Chavez, Kostya Tszyu vs Oscar...Kostya's one weakness is he gets ****y when he is on a win streak and people are hyping him up, but when he is the underdog, or there is a real tough fight that he knows, he trains hard physically and mentally.

      Older Chavez vs Kostya Tszyu

I was actually rooting for Tszyu a bit more then Chavez, because thats how shot i knew Chavez was and i thought if Chavez won this title he's fight again, i assumed -even though he said, he wins this title and he retires- it was very, very tough seeing this fight, i wish i would have belived in Chavez but he was way done, he still spoked Tszyu or at least got his attention when Chavez would let his hands go, but it was clear Chavez was to old and too weak to be making the 140 lb. class.

As for a Delahoya v. Tszyu, Delahoya ****s up Tszyu. If you remember, this fight was supposed to happen there was already talks of them possably fighting after Chavez or there after but before Delahoya moves up to welterweight. Then Vince Phillips ****ed it all up, when he ko'd Tszyu.

Yup, the fight fell through with Tszyu's loss to Cool Vince...that is my one big complaint about Tszyu...I know the Russians and Aussies love the guy, but his ego can get inflated, and that is when it can be popped: before the fight, people favored Tszyu, and Kostya (if I can remember correctly) was going through legal trouble with his manager at the same time...he was training at odd hours of the day, and even though he was warned that he should postpone the fight or at least focus more on the fight, he thought he could do it all...well, it cost him...at least that is the story I heard.

When he lost the fight he came back and dominated because people counted him out, which he likes and makes him more effective...when he went through the injury problems and was inactive for some time, he came back and destroyed the "favored" Mitchell... Tszyu's ego got inflated again, thus setting up the fall once again...He should of moved up a while ago, but he didn't figure out that his injuries were from age and his body seemingly rejected the weight and or the fight game...Tszyu thought he was going to go to England, get paid big bucks to take out a tough, but flawed brawler/fighter in Ricky Hatton, he was wrong.

Tszyu never fought the same after the Phillips fight, he has way too much respect for his opponet then before the Phillips fight. His second fight with Mitchell did remind me of the young Tszyu, he was just fearless and walked through Mitchell. I never knew about his personall problems before the Phillips fight. This is one knock people still have on Tszyu, he never fought Phillips again. I would like him to fight Hatton again, but i don't know where his mind is, i think he's enjoying his family life and if he's not mentally ready to fight, then he should stay out of the ring. Coming up he fought some very tough fighters for such a young prospect, talk about a fighter taking the fast track to a world title then you have to mention Koysta Tszyu. I still remember the slug fest he and Hector Lopez fought, that I remember they just went toe to toe, great action, from what i recall. When he won his first title i actually thought Jake Rodriguez was going to give Tszyu some problems because Rodriguez became a way better fighter when he upset Murry, but damn, Tzyu just blew him out and ko'd him. I wonder what Tszyu thinks of Daniel Ponce de Leon and his pony tail? Tszyu had much better skills and technique but in the same fashion as de Leon, Tszyu would stock his prey and throw bomb after bombs.

I always thought the younger version of Tszyu was the better version...he was aggressive and elusive, but later on he seemed to become more of that "soviet" style fighter, which I can't remember him ever doing in the amatuers.

LOL, I am one that didn't like that Tszyu didn't fight Vince again...I know he was supposedly trying to setup a fight with him, but when Vince lost Tszyu tossed the fight aside...for a Hatton rematch, if Tszyu comes back, which would be at 147, he has to try to get Hatton in the ring, if not, don't come back because I don't want to hear the excuses...I know Tszyu isn't the same fighter and is older, but he can still fight if he fights at 147 and has the desire to fight...the one thing that I noticed what a 30+ year old Tszyu doesn't have is that elusive ability/reflexes and hand speed, which people seem to forget...Quick Note: When Tszyu was going to fight Zab, Zab was told that Tszyu was looking over some of his old tapes and was planning on using some of his old style in the Judah fight, but Judah replied, "Tszyu is older, he hasn't fought like that in a long time, he can't and will not do it"...

I think at 147, he'd be stronger, and Hatton would have a hard time beating him there, depending how Tszyu look after the long lay off. Judah must not have been paying attention. True Tszyu hadn't fought like his old style in a long time, but that was his descision not by force of his opponets. Judah just ****ed up in his fight against Tszyu. But leading up to that fight, i swear, Tszyu was playing mind games with Judah. I mean Tszyu was being all nice and not giving Judah any reason to train harder to build up anger. And i've seen this stratagy played out before some fighters fall for it others dont'. Then after the fight Tszyu was like see how he's acting, winner takes all, and even after words, he's say how rude Judah was, im thinking "wheres the good guy Tszyu at.." lol, Judah got played, mind games take place in boxing a lot, a fighters go to watch out for that or else you opponet may catch you slipping, which is what hes trying to do. One of Tszyus famous quotes, "please don't insult me" LOL! I think it was after his fight with Judah when he told Jim Gray this, when Gray was getting out of line, it was hollerious.
