The biggest factor, Margaritos ring intelligence doesnt come close to floyds, this is the most important factor of all. Margarito doesnt fight intelligently in all 6 fights i have seen of him, mistake after mistake that a superior fighter could capitolize on plague alot of the bouts ive seen him in. You can throw all the punches you want, percise counterpunching hurts, even corey spinks had Roman Karmazin backing up.

Regardless, i need to see margarito in with someone who is on his level or supposed to be better than him that ISNT named floyd mayweather to make a final judgement on him.

what u say is true but is it even possible when someone is so much power is throwing to kill? whoever it is will get caught one way or another.

        Diego Corralles/Jose Luis Castillo/Jesus Chavez

all of those people were looking for the kill and couldnt land it, intelligence matters and thats something margarito doesnt have, and will never have at this point in his career.

Floyd is better than Margarito in every category than Margarito besides power.

Floyd is faster, smarter, and has fought many different styles.

Wow, I like this a good debate!

Margarito has a no contest as well as a technical decision loss on his record to Daniel Santos. Not only has he not beaten Santos, but that was considered a step up in class for him. How many people, after looking at Margarito's record, can honestly say that Floyd is not a major step up for him? He does have a win over tough Antonio Diaz (who was never a physically strong guy), Andrew 'Six Heads' Lewis (who never took a punch well) and Kermit Cintron (who broke down mentally, and I would like to see them fight today). Trust me when you get hit with 4-6 hit combos you will gain respect. You don't have need one punch power to gain respect. Floyd has been perfecting his craft over 20 years. He can be beaten. I'm not saying he is invincible but Margarito?

Those opponents werent that great in retrospect, which is why i said this:

KOing your opppents is great and all, but thats why i said this

its all in how you go about those KOs, and the way floyd fights, you cant get a KO like that, Floyd will punch and then not be there, all, ALL of margaritos opponents hardly ever move!

i think he has too much power and too active for floyd to handle. castillo is not as strong and for those who think he is are in denial.
