Good as most other middleweights. Jones was one for the ages in his prime. He's went downhill suddenly, though, playing around with his weight.....

I believe Nigel Benn said the "Jones wasnt human in his prime".

And Benn wouldnt praise somone like that for no reason.

WHAT A PICKLE KISSER...............BENN IS A ***** AND SO IS JONES!

i have never seen a champion fight so many part time fighters. a policeman, a trash collector, a teacher. also, i've never seen a champion turn down so many big paydays to fight low class opposition after low class opposition.

Like I said IN THE VERY FIRST POST that's not what I'm asking. Have I mentioned those fighters anywhere in this thread? No. So why are you bringing them up for?

Remember, Jones is generally referred to as the greatest lb4lb fighter of all-time.

After beating that Nigel Benn wannabe Richard Hall, they said that he was 'greater than Sugar Ray Robinson'..

Y'all haters keep criticizing Roy Jones competition. Fact is he fought better competition than Calzaghe, Dariusz, Eubank, Benn and Ottke. If anyone of these guppies here think that any of the above fighter mention is great fighter then they need to shut the **** up because Roy did more then any of them.
He is all time p4p great fighter and somewhere in the 40s on my list.

Are you really this ******? Nobody rates Benn, Eubank or Calzaghe as the all-time #1 lb4lb. Jones Jr is rated as the #1 lb4lb fighter in the history of the sport, without fighting near the standard of opposition that Benn, Eubank, Toney, Calzaghe etc went to war with.

Benn and Eubank are legends, we'll never see another two like those.

And Calzaghe just put on arguably the most impressive masterclass ever.

First, drop the "haters", cos it's childish. I'm not "hating", I'm asking a question. I'm asking for each Roy Jones opponent to be ranked.

Secondly, what OTHER FIGHTERS THAT AREN'T ROY did is irrelevent. If people were on here saying that Chris Eubank was an all-time great (other than JuyJuy and his alts - no offence, Juice) I'd be asking the question too.

Bottom line is, no one ever says Nigel Benn was an all-time great so there's no need to ask the question in the first place.
