Miranda and Abraham in LV is pretty fair. I don't think Miranda will have any advantage and there will be no reason for the kind of bs that happen with Oscar.

I take your point, and I did feel sorry for Miranda with multiple points taken off (name one other fight where so many points have been detracted - can't think of one off the top of my head) but I just have to laugh at all the Europhobia.

Germany IS above average in dodginess, but not as bad as painted out. And the US can often be a place where you can lose a point and take a ten count for being hit after the break (Lacy-Reid) or only get points taken away when you bite off an ear.

Yea, and other than the points the big problem I had in the fight was the 5th round stoppage...

The Ref DID call the fight. He said "So that's the fight" to the Dr and the Dr agreed. Than the ref goes to the advisor and says "This kid can't fight so what are we going to do" he says this to see how to score the fight. They finally agree Miranda wins by TKO, "He loses 2 points (on the headbutt) but wins the TKO"

Now anywhere else in the world Michael Buffer gets in the ring and announces these results. But in Germany, the damn promoter was allowed to discuss the results with the ref and make him change his mind and continue the fight. Ref asks Abraham if he can continue and Abraham responds "NO".... More discussion and finally the fight is allowed to go on.

This poll makes baby jesus cry. Miranda did not win 10 ****ing rounds. If you want to pretend that the 3 low blows shouldn't have been point deductions then there's still no way he won 8 rounds.

Abraham clearly won man,if 5 points wouldent have been took,it would have been closer but Abraham still would have just edged it,Abraham was the better technical boxer,and he had Miranda rocky a few times

last time I checked, you need to fight more than 20 seconds of a round to win a fight. Abraham was on the ropes for 2 minutes and 40 seconds of every round and would only fight for about 20 seconds. Miranda deffinately won that fight.

i thought miranda won the fight. i really wasn't impressed with abrahams boxing. abrahams heart is another story. there is no match for abrahams heart, he's got one of the biggest heart and will i've ever seen in a fighter.

but as for fighting i thought miranda had him beat, and that although he finished the fight, i think that the fight should've been stopped in favor of miranda. miranda broke his jaw bad and it was early enough in the fight that abrahams health was really at risk. it's all water under the bridge now but i thought it should've been stopped.

but the ref was a **** job with all the points being taking away. the head butt i can agree with. but all the other points taken were bull****. no warning, and the ref was lead along by abrahams crying about fouls. nothing is more annoying than a fighter who complains while he's fighting. especially when the bodyshots were right on the belt and about the clash of heads during the action those weren't intentional, it was during the action, plus abrahams was hitting in the back of the head all fight long and miranda didn't say peep.

i thought that miranda brought the fight, i thought he was the aggressor, i thought he out worked abrahams, and i thought he landed more of his shots. he had a higher work rate and always came back after getting hit.

i thought abrahams threw wild punches like sam peter and was swinging for the fences all fight long. when abrahams did box and use a jab he looked good, but other than that he was going for a home run every time, it looked real amateurish. i do like abrahams power and the STRAIGHT punches he threw were good, but the majority of the time he looked like a well conditioned club fighter who has MOMENTS of world class technique.

without all the extra points taken away from miranda he could've won the fight on the cards, home town judging pending too, but miranda shold've won by tko with the way abarahams jaw was............

i think miranda is the better fighter between the two and i can't wait for the rematch, hopefully it will be just as exciting without all the ref and politics bull****.
