Actually this might be the most ignorant comment made on this thread. A case could be made that Abraham did not want to continue anymore. A muffled response, coupled with the lack of a nod after being asked if he still wanted to fight is ambiguous at best. However, this is not the most glaring piece of evidence as to whether or not he was hurt: THE MAN HAD HIS JAW BROKEN FORCING HIM INTO A DEFENSIVE SHELL AND HAD TO IMMEDIATELY UNDERGO RE-CONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY!!! If that doesn't imply hurt then I don't know what does...

I think what he means is it never looked like he was going to get dropped. he was obviously seriously hurt/injured.

Again, for the benefit of the debate I'll repeat: all Abraham had to do was win FOUR ROUNDS to win the fight with the point deductions.

Everyday that goes by more and more writers are seeing the fight the way it really happened. MIRANDA WON. Even with the bull**** point deductions. Even with the crap that happened in round 5 when he got the TKO and they decided to keep going. Now we have Thomas Gerbasi, a very respectful and nonbiased writer, telling what he saw. **** guys, other than the paid off ref and judges, who else gave Abraham the fight???

95 per-cent of these so-called experts from America predicted that lacy would knock out calzaghe, they're not always right.

All Pantera does is get other peoples verdicts and makes a fuss about it,hell i hope the rematch does happen,so Abraham can do 2 him what he was doing earlier in the fight and finish the job off

That's a pretty ****** comment. Did they review the Lacy tapes and think he won??? NO! They thought he WOULD win, but Calzaghe proved everyone wrong.

Unreal how you can even compare a prediction with a review!

Look how the writer from maxboxing scored the fight, hes gave 3 rounds even

" 7 – Abraham 9-8 (Abraham 66-64) - Close Miranda round, but Abraham gets it due to the two point deductions "

He claims its a close Miranda round,****,most judges would have given the round 10-8 Abraham, not 9-8,unless Mirandas done a beautiful job of hurting his opponent and outboxing him,not having a close round

Ummm...I think you are reading it wrong. He gives the round to Miranda (10-9). But because of the two point deductions the round swings Abraham's way making it a 9-8 round for Arthur.
