Their obviously two strong sides to this fight, nobody's gonna convince the other side they are wrong.

IBF will keep Miranda at #1 and we will wait patiently for Abraham to heal and be able to fight again. My only hope is that the fight is in the USA this time and we can't use the Germany Way as an excuse.

Both fighers proved a lot and I think they will get some good money for a rematch. Whoever didn't see it the first time will not want to miss #2!

After I've just sat through Toney getting robbed and Guzman only fluking a win (when he clearly dominated IMO) I've gotta hear about "the Germany way"?

I take your point, re: the points, but the fact remains that those points WERE taken away. If they weren't? Well, I probably had Miranda edging it 7-5 or a draw, but we can't play fantasy land and decide how many points we want removed from his ledger.

Man, these discussions are getting similar to the Klitschko - Lewis ones.

Both fighters did a great job in there. But Abraham won fair and square, in my opinion.

Yes in any other place in the world the fight would been stopped.

Wow Did not expect it to be so close. That was a very strange fight but in all fairness Abraham should have lost by TKO.He was given way to much time to rest for questionable calls.

Okay, so I'm the original poster of this thread. I watched the entire fight Disgusted by how the fight was handled and the outcome. Afterwards, I came on the boards and read every thread that had to deal with this atrocioius affair. I wanted to see what the boxing community thought. It sickens me. Miranda should have won. That's it. Final. I am unbiased. I don't "like" either fighter. I saw the fight for what it was. Miranda won. He was robbed. Clearly, there are a few in here that must love Abraham. He didn't do nearly enough to win in my book. The referee favored Abraham's side soo bad. I feel bad for Miranda that he had to take the L. Let Abraham have the victory and belt, I hope he's enjoying his win in the hospital. I'm pissed.

                bla bla.

Other people just as un biased as you that didnt "like" either fighter have stated quite the opposite. Saying that Abraham did do alot more to deserve the win, landing the cleaner harder punches. Miranda fought a dirty fight and he got point deductions for it.

I will admit that it was his home of Germany, and he was World Champion so there was a bit of favortism. BUT BIG ****IN DEAL, home court advantage in sports, ever heard of it?? it gets nasty sometimes, but it is what it is, and it pushes the challenger coming in to do somethin VERY special to take your title away, and IMO Miranda didnt do anything special enough to steal Abrahams belt in his backyard.

I didn't see anything special from Miranda to say that he won the fight. Although he was the aggressor throughout the fight, his punches weren't landing. Once Abraham started to attack, Miranda would fall back and get hit. If ABraham didnt have a broken jaw, I think he wouldve finished it.

Lets just stop waisting time and wait for the rematch. After the rematch I think everything will be clearer.

Yea, no reason to keep saying what we have said a 100 times already.

A rematch has been demanded by the IBF. Hopefully Abraham will heal quickly and strongly and be able to fight soon. Las Vegas anyone? I know you two crazy Cali boys will be there!

Ah, Las Vegas, that Mecca of fair boxing. Lucky Oscar pulled out that "win" against Sturm, with all those millions on the line, eh?
