Mayweather wins this, but not by KO or TKO. UD for mayweather. Lets see how well Cotto does at 147 against Quintana- which is by no means an easy fight. I actually think that this fight is a toss up (quintana Cotto)

Mayweather does get ****y in the ring but he knows what opponents he can get away with that behavior with. Mayweather is a very professional and intelligent fighter. He wouldn't give a chance to Cotto to land something big on him. Mayweather would win easily on points maybe even a late stoppage if Cotto gets hit clean to many times.

There is way too much of a handspeed and footwork difference. If Cotto beats Quaintana then he needs to go fight Margarito or Hatton, their styles would make a great fight. Mayweather is just the wrong fighter for him.

And Torres didnt "drop" Cotto. It was ruled a knockdown but how can you honestly say Torres dropped him? Honestly. It was clearly a push, anyone with eyes can see that.
But you havent seen Cotto at 147 yet, so you cant make those assumptions.
I think Floyd will beat Cotto based on what I have seen of both of them at 140, and that Floyd is still faster than Cotto at 147.
He had Cotto hurt and bad.

Mayweather is all business in the ring.
                He is not Roy Jones.

Is this fight actually going to happen or is it just another make believe?

I was going to pick Floyd on points (I can't believe I'm reading the implication that Floyd has the same punching power as Torres from some posters ) but maybe I need to think about this. Cotto ain't THAT bad, and he's good at closing down the ring.

I think Cotto's a bigger stronger guy than Judah and Mitchell, we haven't seen Cotto fight at WW and we haven't seen PBF take on a TRUE WW. Once we see how PBF does against Baldi, we might get a better picture of how this fight would play out, only that Cotto's a better boxer than Baldi. If they fought today at 140, I'd give it to PBF hands down, but at 147 with Cotto not draining himself, should be very close IMO. I think Cotto stands a much better chance than some people in here think. I agree with going against Margarito if he can get pass Quintana, then whatever happens, bring PBF on.
