Saying that Floyd would stop Cotto only because he was dropped by Torres would be unfair. He got hit with devastating punches in this fight. I doubt Floyd would have stayed up after those savage blows(but he would obviously never get hit with that kind of shots).

However, I do think Floyd would beat Cotto fairly easily. Something like a 117-111 UD.

Yea exactly. Torres has a punching power. Floyd doesn't. Floyd could still beat cotto by a late stoppage but not a regular ko.

Cotto has nothing on Mayweather. I see a lop-sided fight that ends in Mayweather winning by KO late.

          Exactly what this guy said.

I hate how people act like Torres clean clocked Cotto and put him on his back. He pushed him. 100% clearly a push. If you cant see that was a push you are plain ******. Yea Cotto was hurt but Torres didnt drop him he pushed/threw him down, whateva you want to call it. But he did not drop him.

I think Cotto beats Floyd at 147. At 140 I would have favored Mayweather but no adays it would happen at 147 which I think would favor Cotto. A weight drained 140 pound Cotto is slow, a non-weight drianed Cotto is actually pretty damn fast. Cotto would surprise a lot of people I think. Floyd is beatable and he will lose sooner or later, I think Cotto might be the man to do it.

Of course you going to say that cause you're a cotto fan. Too biased. Nobody don't know what cotto can do at 147 pounds but we see at dec 2. I personally don't think cotto can beat quintana. Quintana is a very slick fighter. If cotto can somehow beat quintana then i hope mayweather vs cotto happen next year but knowing bob arum, he won't let cotto anywhere near against mayweather cause arum ain't ******, he knows that mayweather would embarrass cotto very bad.

probably mayweather..but cotto can punch...and may be even stronger @ 147..some people move up in weight and get stronger..some move up and the punches dont have the same effect

Mayweather does not hit as strong as Torres but he could do it three time as Torres does it once as well as he could do it accurate.

Cotto would try to left hook to the body but there Mayweather arms is covering as well as his shoulder. As Cotto trys a right uppercut or a straight right will come to Cotto. Cotto handspead. pressure and strenghth is not like Mayweather cant handle

Cotto can punch but you act like mayweather never face a puncher before. Mayweather with his defense and handspeed will easily out point cotto so bad that cotto trainer in the later rounds will throw in the towel aka hopkins did to trinidad.
