There have been some studies done as to why "healthy" people take steroids, a lot has to do with insecurity.
They found that the majority of teenage boys in high-school that are taking steroids are not athletes, but are "regular" kids that are not in sports...the reason, "to look better, to look more muscular, to be able to compete with those that have muscular bodies, in order to get girls, and to fit in"

Its a lack of confidence...the need to be able to compensate for your own lack of ability.

There is also a problem with kids "cheating" by taking ADD and narcolepsy medicine, in order to stay up longer, and to improve their memory for study...to compete against the "wicked smart" kids.

It is understandable as to "Why" people do it, but there are other issues to be concerned about.

I am also saying I am against steroids, but in certain cases, yes.

I'll respond later, but where did they get the idea that having relatively large muscles gets you women? It gets you ATTENTION, fair enough, but to be a true ho bagger you have to be up on your psychology.

Once you learn the science of a attraction, and more importantly MASTER it (and failure is necessary to fulfill your potential; you know what they say: it is a bitter pill to swallow, but it makes you better) ho's (not literally **********s!) will always be at your mercy.

Not my view, this is what the results were from the study.

I didn't have any problem with the study since in my experience, I have found it to be accurate...I know/knew many non-athletes that have taken steroids just to compete with the athletes to become "popular", and to get girls. It's a pretty sad thing, but I understand why they would do it...in nature, women usually go for the "strongest" mate possible, so being 9th in line out of 10 kids, there's a feeling of worry that you are not going to be able to spread your seed.
In my opinion, just do your best in the weight room, but you don't have to use steroids...use your other strength, your BRAIN...Bill Gates doesn't have an athletic body, but he does have billions of dollars.

This doesn't mean that no kid should take steroids, since there are those that have a problem producing enough testosterone to live a quality life, but that is more of a medical issue over vanity.
