Alright That's It
I am officially tired of these two. I hope both of them get knocked out. I'm tired of Taylor and his team's politics and Winky whining about money and respect. So someone please knock both of them out and get someone who wants to fight. NO more Drama!!!Comment

Adding my support to the 'Winky is an ass' crowd.
Rule of thumb- Take the champion's deal. Take the champion's belt. Be the champion. Make the deals.
Is that tricky for some fighters to understand? Most of their management teams understand this. Why don't they?Comment

I called this one. DiBella didn't even want to negotiate--he made an offer, Winky intially turned it down (who accepts the first offer in a business deal? NOBODY, EVER).
Then, Winky "changed his mind" and decided to take the purse (probably because he realized DiBella wouldn't discuss the purse at all) BUT wanted PPV upside and what not, and DiBella obviously didn't even want to try to negotiate those points, so he just ran back to Ouma, as I thought he would.
Is Winky dumb to turn down $5 mill? Absolutely, but if that was the first and only offer, he was just trying to do business, and if the b-talk.com story about him changing his mind is true, he reversed field, took the offer, but wanted more money in other areas. Nothing wrong with trying to negotiate, but DiBella wanted none of it. That's what it looks like to me.
As for this fight, Taylor will bludgeon Ouma and recapture alot of hype. Ouma will land alot of slappy punches, but Taylor will walk through them and pummel the Dream for a stoppage; Taylor TKO7 Ouma.Comment

Damn, I thought for sure after G. Leon from BTalk reported Winky was willing to make the fight happen, that it would. Does he really think he'll get a bigger pay day? Last time he got around 3 mil, and now 5, who does he think he is?Comment

Winky's adviser/lawyer Wilkes was quoted as saying this fight would not fall apart, that there's just too much money to turn down. Well, he, like Winky, surely anticipated some negotiation with DiBella about the PPV percentages and gate. When Lou was unwilling to talk, Wilkes and Winky didn't blink, and Team Taylor went back to the Ouma fight, which means big money/tiny risk for Taylor, and a huge gate at Little Rock.
While I commend Taylor for wanting this fight now and not later, it's clear they tried to make it on their own terms and didn't want to give any ground to Wilkes and Winky.
Lost in all this is Ouma. Ouma was treated very poorly here, and unfortunately for him he will be treated even worse during the fight. At least he'll get his shot and a good payday for it.Comment

5 Million dollars and winky turn it down? no excuses crazy, it prove right there that winky is god damn way overpricing himself/ Lou offer winky the biggest money in winky whole career and winky will turn it down? no excuse.Originally posted by cupcrazy01I called this one. Like the majority I think the Winky fight would've been alot better. I don't know if anyone else noticed but Taylor's career has been steared away from any punchers. I don't recall Taylor fighting anyone that can crack as of yet. The hardest puncher he's faced was Hopkins & we all know Hopkins is a grind you down type fighter. If Miranda gets by Abraham a fight between him & Taylor would be good; I'm not so sure Dibella would let Taylor fight Miranda though.Comment
