It appears the pay-per-view rematch between middleweight champion Jermain Taylor and challenger Winky Winky has fallen apart, and Taylor has decided to go with fomer junior middleweight champion Kassim Ouma. Wright was offered a guarantee of $5-million, which was not enough to make the fight happen. [details]

God dammit. I am now an official Whineky Wright hater.
If the ***** had kept his mouth shut about a rematch he obviously didn't want in the first place, the Ouma fight would have gone ahead on Nov 25th and I would be there with my little brother, who I haven't seen in 12 years.
December 9th is U2 and Pearl Jam here in Honolulu and I already have nearly $2000 sunk into 8 seats for me and my friends.
****ing whiney ass *****.
On another note, wouldn't it be nice to have so much money that you could turn away the largest paycheck you have ever been offered?Last edited by vB Martin; 09-13-2006, 01:43 AM.Comment

it's going to be awesome to see them both at the same show. This is U2's way of apologizing for rescheduling the original April date, I guess.Originally posted by Gunstar1Nice post VB! U2 and Pearl Jam kicks ass, I love those 2 bands!Comment

I hope you spent money killing whoever got you those tickets to 2 ****ty bands.Originally posted by vB Martinit's going to be awesome to see them both at the same show. This is U2's way of apologizing for rescheduling the original April date, I guess.
While I would have prefered Wright/Taylor (as everybody should) I am not exactly disappointed with Taylor/Ouma as The Dream is definately a fighter I enjoy watching... even if I favor Taylor a decent amount to win the fight.Comment
