he kayoed a much bigger number of quality opponents than maskeav. byrd,,mercer,,shulz,,barret,,,mcline,,shufford,,bo tha,,,he's a much bigger and better puncher than maskeav. its very obvious

not so sure about that. maskeav has a descent chin when he's mentally focused. remember peter hasnt been able to stop any semi durable heavyweights such as shufford..pudar..hawkins and of course toney and wlad. so it sure wouldnt shock me if maskeav absorbs those clubbing shots. I still lean toward peter but its not going to be an easy win for him in my opinion

The Rahman that lost to Maskaev, was a better Rahman that beat Toney. (Yes beat)

And yes, Peter is yet to beat a top fighter (not saying Maskaev is, but he is better than any competition Peter KOed)

I would still see it as another gifted decision for Peter though...

apparently, this has to be stated on a weekly basis. wladimir was not looking for a KO. watch the tape again, and you can hear steward telling him just to box and not try to out power peter.

I was talking to Maskaev this Sunday and I don't think he has that confidence, but than again, I don't know him as a blubber mouth guy either.. he just doesn't talk much
