+ Obviously sidn't like Tyson personally. He should be ahead of Dempse,y and Marciano should be in Mike's place at 100.Jack Johnson should exchange places with Ali, and Cerdan should be higher. Langford lower. George Foreman definitely lower. Ketchell Ray Leonard, McGovern and Gans should be lower. I see Basilio well up there but no sign of Gene Fullmer, Nino Benvenuti, Duilio Loi, Roy Jones should be much higher. LaMotta is too high.
I can't see why Peter Jackson, John L. and J.J.Corbett are included except from "sentiment'. All the other boxers would dance rings around them and win by large margins, unless a lucky punch got in. Battling Levinsky should have been well up in the middle but not even mentioned.
It's a hell of a job to make a large list. Far, far too many top notchers to even attempt one. I'd suggest taking only the boxers for a period of say, 25 years. at a time.
