Toney/Peter WHO WON THE FIGHT???

Well, I don't agree with you, but I don't want to belabor this forever. The truth is neither one of them impressed me. Here's my thread on the subject:

...I honestly think that you'd have to be a Toney hater or a Peters nuthugger to think Toney lost that fight, but that's just my opinion.

What was a disgrace was Toney's criminal behavior after the fight. Where were the police? He should have been arrested or at least detained for attemting to assault Peter's manager. And he should be fined too, and banned temporarily too. The media is beyond disgrace, fawning over the degenerate foul-mouthed criminal.

Peter won the fight. He was the aggressor throughout and had Toney hurt a number of times, whereas Toney managed to cut, but not hurt Peter. You morons (Toney's demented fans) pick one of the few righteous decisions ever made to whine about crooked decisions! How about starting with Toney's fake decision over Rahman instead, to pick one out of ten million?

Oh, by the way, what do you think about the time when Toney was holding on to the ropes with one hand? Isn't that illegal? I know that holding the ropes and punching is illegal. Why didn't the referee warn him about that? What do the boxing rules say about that? For that matter, WHERE are the boxing rules? Nobody seems to know. Do they just make them up as they go along?

OK then, disregard my last post. I was under the erroneous impression that I was talking to a grownup - a silly impression on a boxing forum - especially a dumb assed thread like this one!.

He wasn't holding on to the ropes & hitting, he was using it as leverage to dodge some shots, the ref saw it & said something about it. Sorry but in boxing fighters(B-Hop for one) can become very skilled at sliding things under the refs radar, if they get away with it then good for them.

I don't see how someone seeing something they think is wrong and speaking up about it is crying, what I consider crying is claiming that the poll was altered by people with multiple sn. The people saw what they saw, Peters got a boxing lesson, then he was handed a gift. I'll tell you this much not very often does a fighter win a well deserved decision, & then gets booed out of the ring & has to run for safety.

Sorry but you talked more about how you dislike Toney & his behavior(which was justified if you had just been robbed then mocked) more then the events of the fight, my post was full of info about how the fight went in my eyes, you haven't negated a single point I've made so who's the dumbass?

Did the ref say something to him about that? I didn't notice it. Obviously you can't have a guy hanging on the ropes by one hand whether he's punching or not!

I honestly think Toney won by at least 3 points, & lost no more the 5 rounds(I have to go back & score it round by round but i know what I saw) that's my honest opinion & I've backed up why I think that way, that doesn't sound like crying to me. Maybe it was alot closer then I thought but to say that this poll isn't valid is bull****, you can argue with another persons opinion but not with the poll, the majority of people feel Toney won the fight.
