In all seriousness, Floyd's only 30, so it's not too late; but he'll have to beat Hatton, Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Baldomir...and wins over De La Hoya and Mosely would help, as would wins over Quartey; but those guys are past their best.
You have to understand, to be an all time great, it takes more than everybody saying you're the pound for pound best, you have to prove it....and constantly.
Robinson really proved himself at 147; but added to it by fighting and beating the best at 160 long after he was past his best...and those guys were really good he beat, some great. It takes more than press clippings and alphabelts, you have to duck no one and take on all comers and show supreme confidence in yourself and back it up in the ring against the best competition available.....and if your competition is on par with those of the all time greats....you just might make it into the club.
As of now, Floyd's got a ways to go.
