And that says it all. There's no law that says there HAS to be a great in every era. End of story.

Yeah, as much class as Floyd himself. Get off your high horse.

        Wow, a new stalker, huh?

Come on, moron, Hatton has had just ONE fight at that level. Who's to say at this stage that beating an old Zoo who'd come off a long layoff wasn't a freak occurence? Does just ONE win at that level prove irrevocably that he belongs?

The Middleweight champion of the world is as green as **** - he sc****d past Hopkins and DIDN'T beat Wright. I think you'll find it was a DRAW.

And WTF has DLH and Mosley being "HOF" got to do with them not looking old? Is being a future HOF fighter an elixer of youth and no one's told me?

Wow, no sense and a pompous, self-righteous loud mouth. "Go figure".

Exactly!!!!!!!!!! It amazing how many part time fans are on here. How someone can talk about Floyd being p4p best at this stage is beyond me

PBF will never be the greatest or even one of the greatest if he continue to fight mismatches....

i havent heard ONE person say that he is p4p the greatest of all time AT THIS STAGE. and u if u cant debate or even consider the fact that PBF could be P4P the greatest ever, after beating the fighters i mentioned before, then YOU are the part-time boxing fan

                THAT says it all IMO

i seriously dont know how u can NOT consider PBF as a GOAT if he beats all the greats.

SRR beat 12 HOFers in nearly 200 fights.

if PBF beats WINKY WRIGHT (future HOFer) JERMAIN TAYLOR (future HOFer) SHANE MOSLEY (future HOFer) OSCAR DE LA HOYA (future HOFer) RICKY HATTON (hes just a great fighter) then he will have 4 or 5 (if gatti gets into the hall) wins over hall of famers in a little over 40 fights.

thats a WAAY better HOF win % then SRR.

i dont get why this is even a debate

if PBF beats all those guys convincingly, OF COARSE he'll be the GOAT or at least top 5. OF COARSE he will be.

the only problem is, he wont beat all those guys. beating taylor at 160 is just not gonna happen. he'd get knocked out in my book, althought that'd be a great fight

A lot of supposition in that post... are we really taking for granted that Taylor is a future HOF?

Let's not forget that his wins (particularly the first) against Hopkins were very contentious, and he only drew with Winky. If he gets beat soon those wins won't count for much.

DLH looked phenomonal in his last fight

and MOSLEY looks like he's 95% back to what he once was.

both fighters are fighting like they were a long time ago.

If PBF beats them both, then he should get only slightly less credit then he would get had he beaten them in their primes.

thats why PBF has to beat them convincingly to get the FULL amount of credit and i personally think he can do it

with fights against ouma and mora comin up next, he aint gonna lose in a while. lol

but if he loses to THEM then i agree.

but it doesnt matter if u though he won or not, professional judges saw him win both hopkins fights and gain a draw against winky wright. If he beats wright, i dont think u could NOT induct him into the hall of fame :P
