Sounds good in theory but you've got Tyson and Tua who are pretty much the same height. And Chris Byrd who also started off as a middleweight.

I can picture any of those guys beating Peter. I think Peter's going to win but I don't think its impossible it could go the other way.
By frame size I don't neccesarily mean height. Tua and Tyson are both big men, natural heavyweights, though they are similar in height to Toney. Their shoulder widths, wrist and fist, as well as rib cage are all larger, thicker and denser than Toney's. Toney is a small guy. Just look at the picture of him on Nautilis's avatar looking dwarfed by a smaller sized heavyweight in Evander Holyfield. Tyson may be Toney's height but he has some serious width to him and broad ass shoulders. Same with Tua. These guys have heavyweight bones and Toney doesn't.

Chris Byrd is more of an undersized cruiserweight who fought at middleweight, filled out to his natural weight, and kept putting on weight to become a heavyweight. I consider him a cruiser in terms of his frame, certainly a naturally bigger man than James.

Kid Achilles, I repeat: After Toney wins will you admit you know nothing about boxing, and that your opinion is completely irrelevant?

No, because boxing is one sport where you really can never be sure. If I'm wrong on September 2nd it will be just one more fight that I guessed wrong on. We all make mistakes and make bad calls. Honestly, I really won't care much at all. If he wins, I'll give Toney the credit he deserves as one of the best heavyweights on the planet.

**** just ain't gonna happen though.

The fight plan is simple. Styles make fights and Toney has the perfect style to beat a wild swinging amatuer like Peter.

Toney just has to close the distance and stay close to Peter and smother his punches nullifying any power from Peter.

Toney's defence is the best in the game. He will be looking to counter with his infamous right hand all night.

I'm certain Toney can roll with the punches and not get hit flush by Peter.

Anything can happen in a boxing match, nobody predicts correctly 100% of the time.

If there is one cat on the scene that knows his **** it would be Kid Achilles. The only thing lacking in relevance or validity in the debate between you two is your last post.

            Long live The Kid!!!

Here are some stats on Tyson vs. Toney, I expect they're somewhat out of date. The two fighters don't look radically different though.

              Height: 5'11 1/2"

              Waist: 34"
              Thigh: 27"
              Calf: 18"
              Neck: 19 3/4"
              Wrist: 8"
              Fist: 13"
              Ankle: 11"

              Toney :

              Weight: 227
              Height: 5-9½
              Reach: 75
              Chest: (Norm): 44
              Chest: (Exp): 46

Toney will win by unanimous decision. He will outbox, outsmart and outhustle Peter.

Makes a lot of sense. Definitely the most likely scenario.

When you put a boxer and slugger, I always go with a boxer. I believe Toney's chin can hold up.

If i see a heavyweight Toney i would NEVER think that he started at Middleweight. Thats ridicilous! Cruiserweight yes but Middleweight? Verry hard to believe! When i see pictures from him as a middleweight he was physically much smaller. Now he is way more muscular with wider shoulders and bigger arms and of course more fat. He seems as a natural Cruiserweight to me, not Middleweight or Supermiddleweight.
