It's not like fighters get emotional and say things they don't mean after a fight.

Maybe Wright would have more clarity if he was a bitter little college kid who's only been watching boxing for 2 years.
Don't even bother... Diego tries to bash Winky Wright any chance he gets.. no matter how ridiculous..

both guys are looking into a rematch, which is rare nowadays, we should all be happy in that..

and the people saying "Wright didn't want a rematch" when he stated it 10 minutes after his fight, really don't know much about being a fighter to be honest.. it's called emotion. It's either that, or they don't want to see Taylor lose...

Jermain should make him wait a little to let him know who is in charge. But they should def do it again.

Jermain isn't like that.. if anyone will do that, it's Lou DiBella doing it for him, and i don't see why either is dominantly "in charge" here.. what give's Taylor the luxury? I think the man deserves an easy fight, or at the least, a little time off, but i don't think he has any justification to have favoritism after a draw

lol Okay so why in the world did you think Jermain had more accurate punches?

U cant let the smaller man back u up and land more meaningful shots. Taylor game plan was all messed up then. He should have took the fight to Winky and open him up that way.
              No **** it was dumb.
Taylor was a young kid and trying to make the fight be more exciting, and in turn, go in his favor.
YOu should really watch the post fight interview with Steward and Taylor.

All I know is whenever a fighter feels he was wronged, he demands a rematch immediately and is asking promoters and the opponent right there in the ring for one. Wright did not think he won that fight based on his reaction. He was happy to get away with a draw and wanted to act like it was a robbery. HE WANTED TO LEAVE IT UP TO DEBATE FOR ALL OF HISTORY, satisfied that he had done enough to make it close and arguable. But now that the whole internet has bashed him for his after-fight reaction and not fighting in the 12th round, NOW he wants a rematch. Typical.

So that's why he stormed out of the ring into the dressing room with negative body language? That's also the reason why he clearly stated to Larry Merchant that "It was another Vargas" ?

His actions clearly illustrated that he felt he deserved the win.

Most viewers thought he won the fight anyways....so save the Taylor nuthugging. It's getting really old.

Wright said that he would like to have another megafight and continue his career for at least two years. If the Taylor rematch does not come through, Wright is still willing to fight his business partner - Oscar De La Hoya.

The fight with De La Hoya does not have to take place at 160 pounds. Wright is willing to work with De La Hoya and hold the fight at a catch weight.

Bull****! this fight with Delahoya will NEVER happen!

Stop teasing me! Delahoya will NEVER fight Winky.

well he didn't win the Vargas fight either. I thought it was close but clear for Vargas after scoring it about a month ago. whenever it's close, he claims robbery. Wright doesn't understand that because he's such a light hitter, he has to outbox his opponent to win the rounds and ultimately the fight. if he stands and trades like he did with Vargas and Taylor, he has to land almost twice as many punches each round to claim he is winning the fight.
