Toney's game is to stand in front of his opponent and avoid flush shots. I dont think Peter will land many flush shots, but the guy is so powerful that any punch landed anywhere will have the chance of hurting Toney. I know that Toney is one of the toughest guys in recent history, but I think he'll have to use his legs and move around the ring against Peter. If Toney does that, he could easily outpoint him. If he stays on the ropes, Peter will be too strong and take him out.

Toney is a great defensive fighter, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get hit. In fact he gets hit a lot. If the type shots that Evander landed on Toney land for Peter it really will be a "nightmare" and more than likely it will be "lights out" for James.

I thought Freddie Roach summed it up best:

Toney will make Peter miss early and work the body in the early rounds. Those two elements will add to Peter's already poor conditioning and he'll tire around the mid way point.

James will pick up the pace in the mid to late rounds and will cruise to a comfortable points win.

If Peter's gassed enough Toney could score a late stoppage due to volume with Peter on his feet, although I think a decision win is most likely.
