Me, I've fought. Haven't had an amateur fight but I've sparred with amateurs and pros in the gym and I've had my eyes blackened and my lip split. I know how it feels to get hit by a full bodyweight punch delivered by a real fighter, to take a shot to the nose so hard that my eyes well up with involuntary tears, and I've fought through the pain and blindness. I've had the wind knocked out of me many times, and I've hurt guys, busted their noses, staggered them with my punches. I'm not saying I'm that all that good myself, but I've traded leather with guys who meant business and I've given a good account of myself.

Personally I find your post insulting to the intelligence of every fighter. Just because I know how to write well doesn't reveal dog**** about my fighting prowess.

As for your hero Toney, well I hope you still honor his memory with that picture in your avatar after he is blasted out in a few rounds this Saturday. The days leading up to this fight serve as a countdown to the end of his career.

Peter took hard shots all night from Wlad and only wobbled near the end.

actually, peter took light shots from wladimir all night long. although, i doubt they felt very light. check the other thread where i posted some youtube vids of wladimir to get a taste of what wladimir's "power" shots look like.

yeah!!! those are those good straight rights(depending on your stance) smack on the nose. doesn't feel that bad right away, but your nose will feel pretty sore for a couple of days afterward.

you gotta have respect for someone who at least spars and know what it feels like to take a bit of a beating on a regular basis.

i pick toney by late TKO even though a lopsided decision is the safe bet. toney KO is legitimate, he stopped holyfield with accumulation and if they woulda let it continue he would have seriously hurt him. not because holy was rocked but because he was getting hit flush on the ****ing jaw left and right. i can easily see peter being completely gassed by round 8 and eating a ton of shots until the ref steps in and stops it

Well if you read any of the pages before your post you will see that a few pages back the guys that choose Toney to win by TKO/KO and there explanations for it.

I picked Toney to win by late TKO/KO. People continue to talk about Toney's conditioning but neglect to mention that Peter has questionable conditioning also.

toney by decision.. peter shopuldn't even be in the ring with toney. toney has too much experience to let a bum like peter beat him. toney has probably fought more champions than peter has fights.. peter will be strong and clumsy for about 5-6 rounds and then toney will esily outpoint him..
