rahman and mcall were also big underdogs and knocked lewis out. briggs had one moment in a one sided fight against a great fighter thats been hurt many times before. he showed heart but was beaten as soundly as I expected him to be beaten

I see what you're saying, but are you also saying that the Brock fight would be a bigger challenge for Wlad? Briggs got his ass kicked because he gassed plain and simple, he could have just as easily won that fight and he showed that early in the fight. I know that Briggs only had "a moment" in the fight, and I know that Lewis has been hurt in other fights because McCall and Rahman each also just had "a moment". I'm not praising him for losing to Lewis but I though he gave a good account of himself and I also though that there could have been a rematch made, and it's not like Brock has ever fought someone of Lewis' caliber. Like a say though, I'll be glad if this fight goes down, because I won't have to hear about Brock the world beater for a while.

brigg's power makes him more dangerous than brock, but brock is more deserving and i think he would beat briggs if they fought..

briggs would or could have beat lewis if he didnt gas himself is ridiculous. he just doesnt have good stamina and lewis is a ten times better fighter. if he would have tried conserving more energy by not throwing much he'd just have been a sitting duck and would have been knocked out even sooner. there was no reason for a briggs lewis rematch. the outcome was clear. no,,I dont think briggs is any more dangerous a fighter to wlad than is brock. he's bigger and physically stronger than brock but brock is a much more complete fighter and will be just as dangerous in round 12 as he is round 1 unlike briggs. briggs power is overrated. he's never been able to stop a top 15 fighter. briggs was dominated by mcline who was beaten soundly by brock. brock isnt a great heavyweight,,,he's mediocre but better than briggs and much more deserving

            Ridiculous how?
How are the two fighters that KO'd Lewis different from Briggs?
            Are they great fighters, no.
Their shots landed at the right time and against Lewis that's all you need. Lewis is a much better fighter than Briggs there's no doubt, but to say that there was no chance of Briggs Knocking Lewis out when he almost did the job in the very first round to me sounds ridiculous. I seriously doubt Brock will be very dangerous to Wlad in round 12. If he lasts that long he'll be a broken fighter by that point, although IMO there's a much better chance of him being in his hotel room by that point, if not the hospital lol
And there's a difference between going crazy like Briggs did and fighting a paced fight, he wouldn't have to completely stop throwing punches to conserve energy. But none of that matters because I want Brock to get his shot and then shut up.

Brock is a guy that Wlad has to beat if he wants to solidify his status as champ. Briggs is not such a guy, not a top ranked fighter.

Don't be suprised if it comes out next that Wlad will be taking on Butterbean.

I think Brock has power too. I dont know much about him, I only saw him fight Timur which was not an impressive win. But Timur made it very difficult for Brock to do anything. Who knows what'll happen.

I think American fight fans are too hopeful of Brock to be the man when he clearly is not. I thought Guinn brought a lot more to the table and look at him now. Brock will lose badly to Klitschko.
